Bad Choice

This is a story about a hacker from Germany who after becoming of age goes to New York to meet the woman that he has been conversing with online.

After arriving in NY he discovers that the woman is just that, a grown woman and he is a mere kid. The pair enter into an adulterous relationship because not only is she a grown woman who lied to him about her age, but her marital status as well. This story goes down hill after that.

I found that every character involved, overwhelmingly lacked good moral characteristics. The protagonist had a difficult life and made many bad decisions but never learned from any of them.

I felt as though this was a compilation of many stories, that for me did not translate into a well written story line. I also found some of the verbiage was a bit preachy as well as racist in content.

As an avid reader, I appreciate that there are different writing styles and wish this author further success.

A New Generation of Love

Decan Canter, a senior enforcer was asked by Faction Leader Reynolds to protect his daughter as she traveled to the Central Zone to update their security systems/database.

Nisa Reynolds was planning on making the trip to the Central Zone to take care of the security system but to also show her father that she would be the most logical person to take the Central Faction Leader position.

Decan and Nisa appear to clash from the start and it is clear that they are clashing for multiple reasons. One is that they both want the same position but the other most important reason is that they have an undeniable attraction to one another. Funny thing is that they both have ulterior motives and both are on a path of destruction that could possibly cost them their lives.

Ms. Arthur has done her usual and presented very flushed out likable characters with enough intrigue and present day situations that would make you believe that this story-line is reality.

If you don’t get this book, you are missing out on something better than good. Although this is considered a stand alone, reading the back story of this series is a definite must. Happy reading.

Loving the Princess by A.C. Arthur

Ms. Arthur presents with the second installment of the Royal Weddings series.

I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I loved, loved, loved the characters that this storyline was centered around.

Princess Samantha DeSaunters is a strong willed independent woman that handles her business with style, dignity and class. In short, this Princess has a title and mad swag to carry it off.

Garrison Montgomery, aka Gary is a family friend with a military background (and relationship baggage), that has been brought to the island to protect the royal family. Special emphasis was placed on Sam when she walked up to him and kissed him in attempts to show an unwanted suitor that she was already taken.

Although this was a charade, the pair continued to keep up appearances but it all got real when an attempt was made on Sam’s life.
Gary to the rescue saved her life and proceeded to eliminate the threat, leaving he and Sam at odds. After giving Gary the “ignore” treatment, he was assigned to protect her during a trip to the U.S. and it appears that alone time was just what the doctor ordered.

I gotta say that so far, this is my most favorite couple. The chemistry was spot on. If I didn’t know better, I would say that this author utilized characteristics of people that are near and dear to her. Either way, there is nothing like a good love story and this was more than good. I can not wait to read this next installment as I already cant stand the leading lady and for that, I send kudo’s to the author for making me hate her before her story plays out letting me know that this story will be something to talk about.

This is going on my TBR Again pile. I love a good Love story! I give this story 5 flutters…

To Marry A Prince by A.C. Arthur

AC Arthur presents a beautiful love story that turned out to be a sneak attack of the heart because neither party saw it coming.

Landry Norris is a personal stylist who has traveled with one of her clients, Malayka Samson to dresses her for her upcoming nuptuials on Grand Serenity Island. Upon arrival on this beautiful island, Landry meets the equally handsome Kristian DeSaunters.

Prince Kristian is the heir to the throne and feels that he must be on top of everything happening on the island, including investigating the beautiful stylist who’s mere photo has mesmerized him.

Kristian and Landry develop a secret love affair, but when Malayka warns her that he is spoken for, Landry puts an end to the relationship.

Kristian and Landry both attend a family event when chaos ensues. After attempting to ensure her safety, a misunderstanding has Landry quitting her job and leaving the island and Kristian behind.

In true An Officer and a Gentleman fashion, Kristian follows Landry and totally sweeps her and all of the readers off of their feet.

I highly recommend this book as it was the sweetest love story that I have read in a while.

Thanks Ms. Arthur for allowing me to share in this heartwarming love affair.
